Consider using Traffic Exchanges (TEs)
Traffic Exchanges (TEs) provide members the ability to advertise their sites to other users of the TE. The members of a TE submit links to their sites to be included in the “rotation”. The number of times your site will be included in the rotation depends on the number of “credits” you have. You earn credits by either paying a relatively small fee, or by “surfing”. The surfing part is where the rotation comes in.
When you “surf”, you will be shown a page from one of the other members on a timer basis (usually between 20-30 seconds). Each time you view a page, you earn “credits”. After each 20-30 second interval, you click “Next” (or some other mechanism) to view the next page. The more pages you view by surfing, the more credits you earn.
Your credits, whether by surfing or payment, allow your own page to be shown in the surf rotation that other people see. For instance, if you have 200 credits, your page will be randomly shown 200 times as other people surf.
TEs will certainly result in an increase of "hits" to your site. Will they also result in sales? The best way to determine if TEs can work for you is to try one. You can check the “click through” statistics to see how many people are actually visiting your site from the TE.
The list below includes several of TEs that I would recomment:
vinterchange.com
hillbillihits.com
ilovehits.com
funnyfarmtraffic.com
trafficroundup.com
lotsmorhits.com
